Sludge Wizard Council Roleplaying Game (Quickstart Rules)

"I, the Demon King Asmorgor, awaken from my ten thousand year slumber! The suffering of mankind is mine and mine alone to delight in. Prepare yourselves!"

The Demon King Asmorgor has re-emerged from the Depths after his 10,000
years of slumber. He begins his revenge on humanity by shrouding the sun with
darkness and laying waste to towns and cities with his army of Demons and Devils.
Yet, from their sanctums deep within forgotten forests, dark swamps, and crystalline
caves, the Sludge Wizards emerge to banish him and his forces to the darkness
from which they came. These mysterious wielders of primal magic are a force to be reckoned with and will stop at nothing on their quest to annihilate the Demon King.

Sludge Wizard Council is a rules-lite, Stoner-Doom-Metal themed roleplaying game. You play as Sludge Wizards who make up spells to thwart the Demon King Asmorgor and his evil plans. It's a vibe.

The core mechanic of the game is that the players can make up their own spells on the spot as long as the effects fall within their Sludge Wizard's domain. The catch? Before any spell or action may be taken, the Sludge Wizard must strike a deal with Asmorgor. The wizard declares both what they seek to do and what they fear will happen should they fail. The Game Master (Asmorgor) can reject the wizards proposal if the consequences of failure are not enough.
